University of Galway actively participated in BIENAL RSEQ 2022 which took place in Granada, Spain, on 27-30 of June, 2022.

The chemistry-oriented conference was co-organized by the “Real Sociedad Espanola de Quimica” (The Spanish Royal Academy of Chemistry) and the University of Granada.

University of Galway proceeded with two presentations. The first one was titled: “Innovative Photoactive Porous Materials Inspired by a Model Pyrene-Ruthenium Molecular Complex”, and the second presentation delt with the topic of “Photoactive Frameworks, a Solution for Efficient Continuous-Flow Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction”. The total audience of the presentations has been more than 300 individuals and the presenters had the chance to reply to really targeted and interesting questions right after the end of them.
