We are happy to share with you the feedback from a productive meeting between the the NEFERTITI and LAURELIN project teams during the exploration of our common missions and possibilities for collaboration.

Both projects are working toward the advancement of CO2 conversion technologies for renewable fuel production, thus contributing to the mitigation of climate change and the reduction of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere. More specifically, NEFERTITI focuses on photocatalytic processes to produce solar fuels such as ethanol and long-chain alcohols whereas LAURELIN specializes in optimizing CO2 hydrogenation for the renewable methanol synthesis. Our shared goal is to create sustainable solutions supporting the decarbonization of the energy and transport sectors.

During our discussion, some very promising opportunities have arisen that may amplify the impact to both projects:

• Joint Dissemination and Social Media Campaigns to extend outreach and awareness.
• Co-branded webinars on CO2-to-fuel technologies as seen by both projects.
• Participation within EU Events engaging and talking to policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers.

We are very excited about those collaborations and strongly believe that the joint effort between NEFERTITI and LAURELIN will further innovation and accelerate the adoption of sustainable CO2 conversion technologies.
