NEFERTITI Webinar was a blast!

On May 8, 2025, the NEFERTITI project hosted an engaging webinar that brought together a diverse audience from across Europe and beyond. Participants included students, researchers, academics etc.

The session opened with a warm welcome and a comprehensive NEFERTITI project review presented by LEITAT and project’s coordinator, outlining the project's mission to advance sustainable technologies for CO₂ conversion and its achievements. This introduction set the stage for two technically rich sessions exploring innovative approaches.

Session 1: Innovative Materials for CO₂ Conversion Led by experts from the University of Burgos and the University of Galway, this session focused on the theoretical modeling of materials and the development of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for CO₂ photocatalytic reduction.

On Session 2: Photoreactors & Light-Driven CO₂ Conversion The second session addressed the design and implementation of photoreactors, exploring their role in enabling light-driven CO₂ conversion. The speakers covered three key aspects: • Design of photoreactors. (CHEMTRIX) • Implementation of photoreactors at lab scale. (LEITAT) • Implementation of photoreactors in the industrial environment. (SOCAR)
